We have a strong commitment to enabling all our employee’s to complete a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care. Generally all new employees are inducted onto this course within 6 months of joining Celtic Care Services, and as such over 90% of our work force hold this qualification. This is a nationally recognised qualification and is aimed at people who provide direct support to individuals requiring assistance with daily living tasks. Employees will complete nine mandatory units and further optional units to total the required number of credits needed for achievement. These will be chosen in co-operation with your assessor and in line with your duties.
For those who have proven to be capable and wish to progress within the care industry there is the option of completing a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. This aimed at employees who have some responsibility and work without any direct supervision.
